The pearl was the symbol of femininity and marriage in ancient Greece.
Appreciated for their beauty and rarity, pearls have been venerated for thousands of years in cultures all over the world, from China to India to the Arab world and imperial Rome.

According to Indian belief, pearls had the power to give speech to mutes, they also give great vitality to those who wear them.

The white pearl is the most common but their color can vary: the white pearl has pearlescent reflections, ivory or cream, the pearl of Tahiti black reflections bronze, green, pink.
